the interview went well i guess. i almost cried when i pulled up to the street its on.... if you are aware of atl at all, you will know what i mean when i say... its about 1 mile from Turner field. umm... yeah. so i freaked and called mom and almost canceled. it was a scary looking building and i wasn't sure i was even going to go in. but i did. and they were nice.. so who knows.

then i met up with megan for lunch, at this place i guess in buckhead. it was fun. although i haaate spending money on meals unless the meal is actually a drink, and the drink is actually from starbucks. lol, what can i say? it makes me happy.

oh, guess what? julie got into UGA! she found out today. yay!! we're gonna take her out to eat on thursday. tomorrow night i'm going to a photography thing and dinner with my friend katy, in decatur i think. i need to mention that she's the same friend that stood me up at Frontera last week, in which i sat at a booth and ordered cheese dip by myself because she forgot about our plans. hahaha i actually thought it was funny, but needless to say she's paying for my meal tomorrow. i don't hate that!

okay that's about it. you're all caught up now. and Ailya's father is doing better. thumbs UP!

i woke up at 11. my mom made me a sandwich and soup for lunch, and then i watched about 15 consecutive episodes of 30 rock online. from season 1. now i'm on season 2. so, pretty good day lol

so i never talked to the ppl in LA for the interview... left a message they never called back. oh well. but then on friday i got a call for a job in atl i applied for, for a photo researcher position at a magazine. i was excited about it up until about 10 min ago when i found out is for an magazine that "Provides business and entertainment news, health, beauty, and lifestyle information for African Americans."........................

does that bother me? not at all. but do i think they might not hire me because of that? i wouldn't be surprised lol. i might not exactly fit in.. lol. and plus its only $8/hr. But it would be good experience i guess! hahahahaha this should be interesting.

well, other than that my weekend was good. volunteered at church yesterday with the kids, we made a bunch of things for this animal shelter in decatur for the animals and the workers. it was fun. and then i watched football.... we won't talk about that. and then today i skipped church bc i felt too tired to get up. so i ran instead. and then lounged around, didn't do much. mayda and sara came over for bday dinner(s) and we had a lot of fun and delicious food compliments of mi madre.

and that's the end of the weekend. exciting.
