precious little weekend

eeeeeh! i'm ready for this fabulous weekend to get goin. OMG i ran 2 miles this morning, non stop.. blow your mind, i'd like a round of applause. only thing is, now my calves are totally pissed about it. they don't even want to let me walk. Tylenol? yes please. two tylenol?? SURE. one for each calf!

well i haven't packed at all, but i don't think that'll take a hot minute. i can do it. i am watch P.Runway season 1 episodes on Bravo right now, and you know i can't turn down a postal service episode where wendy throws a fit.

the plan is to leave around 2, head out towards conyas, swoop by ms mary's classroom and see whats up. spend a little time, maybe drink a little after school coffee, catch up, yada yada. then i'll leave for la macon around 4:30, and spend time wit da girls :)

stayin til saturday around 5, so i can jet back to stone mountain and go to the Unhindered concert at mi iglesia (that's my church, in spanish, duh i'm trying to educate you). annnyyyways, i'm really excited about that too. dana is gonna come i think, and maybe katy and fleka!

sunday morning is our church's 40th anniversary shin dig. free food, i'll take it up. so, two great weekends in a row. let's just hope my car getting towed was a one time treat.

better

i think things are just going to get better soon. i prayed about it last night, and God really lifted my spirits today i feel like. And while i was at ann taylor loft yesterday (my fav store) the manager was like you should apply here, and so basically i think i'm getting a job there. nothing to do with art, but i think i'd get health care. only downside is, i don't like hanging up clothes, and i have to drive out to the mall of ga. its like 25 min away. but oh well. a job's a job. i'll take it.

and i got my run in today before the rain. i bought the new Dan Brown book, and i'm 30 pages in, its pretty good! but it was flippin 30 dollas! but 40% off because my mom has a border's reward card. so, thanks ma. i came back and read, and then i went to starbucks with emily, which was really fun to catch up with her! i love it.

now i'm waiting for dinner, so freaking hungry. i can't wait for tonight though, i think katy might come over to watch the office with me, and then all my other favorite shows come on too, so i have to pick which ones to tape lol. i'm not mad about it.

yay for a good day. i needed it.

what a day

i woke up to rain, so i didn't go run. oh well, i can take one day off.. i ate nothing but salads today. yummm.... my stomach has been on a constant tirade today, so that's been terrific.

so i went to the mall of ga with stacy today, it was fun. although i didn't buy anything. we found these hideous jumpsuits in New York and Co. so of course we tried them on lol, fantastic. i cant believe there wasnt one thing i wanted to buy today, besides starbucks (duh). oh well.

drove home and decided i should call the leather company i took pics for last month, just to see if i should come in again soon.. nope. they didn't like the pics, and they want someone with more experience. EFF THAT. i don't need you, or the hour drive it takes to get there. but i did feel really stupid, and i feel like i'm going no where in my life. if a lame ass leather company doesn't like me, what am i doing?! i think i should change careers. i feel so dumb.

don't feel bad for me. unless you feel bad enough to give me money or a job. that would be ballin.

oh what a life.

whatever. i pumped up my sister's old bike today, so i might give it a whirl tomorrow. i feel stupid riding it because i haven't in so long. how about the fact that it hurts my butt way more than i recall.. i certainly have more padding in the area than i did back then, shouldn't that help? lol. would you make fun of me if you saw me riding a bike? i don't think i'm gonna wear a helmet.. that's just too much. i'm a little excited about this. next thing you know i'll be whipping out the roller blades, OOHOHH 90's!!! hey flannel is back, we might as well just unveil our jelly sandals, and make it an ensemble.

got back from running this morning at the park, and then went to Home Depot for mom, in the VAN so i could buy some soil for her. oooh the van.. nothing like driving around in a purple vehicle, let alone a huge ugly van. lol

but anyways i'm bored and i'm thinking about so many things right now. one of which is, i want starbucks, but i'm trying to be good and save money since my car being towed took a dip in the wallet. but i guess i can just make my own coffee.. its just not as good! everyone knows that! unless i had my own espresso maker. which, i reallllly want. i want to get out of the house, i just have no where to go. ehhh.....

woops i should be editing pictures right now. i keep forgetting. or putting it off... which excuse sounds better?

what a great weekend. i love UGA game days.. athens is so cute. trafficy, but cute. my car got towed, at helen's apt.. that really sucked. but i think she had a tougher night than me... we won't get into that. poor thing :(

anyways i went to Buckhead church tonight with Katey, in.... buckhead... and it was really good. the sermon was pretty awesome. hit my life at the moment pretty spot on. basically i should stop asking God to give me what i want and stop being a greedy baby and start asking what He wants to do with my life. i agree.

well this week i'm hopefully playing tennis with katy tomorrow, and if she blows me off she's going down. because i can beat her, unlike ernie, and i need that confidence booster. lol. juuust kidding.. but really. and then wednesday i think i'm going to lunch with sue, and this weekend, Macon, to do fun wedding stuff!! seeing Beth's dress, and trying on the bmaid dress. yay! i'm so excited. hopefully the girls up top will fit in just fine and i don't have to do too much altering later on.. because i'm not trying to spend an extra buck on that.

anyways.. love uga, love that we won, and i got to talk to a tech fan the entire time via text, and he didn't get too pissed when we pulled out the big W in the end :) haha
